SAZCOM was established in 2008 after identifying an opportunity to provide excellent and consistent management and communications expertise to organisations without large internal communications teams. The business model is based on creating a virtual consulting practice bringing talented and experienced professionals together and delivering outstanding and cost-effective results for our clients.
SAZCOM often works in an ‘in-house’ capacity, assembling professional teams, and reporting directly to Boards and CEOs.
Managing Director, Sara Irvine holds a Masters of Journalism and Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Sara has worked on projects nationally and internationally and has particular expertise in leadership, stakeholder communications, speech writing and public relations.
Sara understands the changing media landscape and has established strong and trusting relationships with journalists over many years.
Sara has also worked as a journalist and a producer.
Sara was shortlisted for Publicist of the Year at Mumbrella’s CommsCon Awards in 2014, Young Entrepreneur of the Year NSW in 2003 and won the Champion New Business NSW award in 2002.
